Kathleen Poulos, RN, joins MedPanel as Vice President of Sales, based in Irvine, California. Kathleen brings with her more than 19 years of health care experience, ranging from the clinical setting to expertise in international sales and marketing. Prior to MedPanel, she specialized in clinical messaging and market development for Baxter Healthcare, Inc. She enhances MedPanel's expertise in the medical device field, as well as the company's ability to service its west coast clients.
Matt Fearer comes to MedPanel as Vice President, Content Development. Before joining MedPanel, Matt co-founded MORPACE Pharma Group, Ltd., a market research and consulting company. At MORPACE, he served as Vice President of Therapeutic Operations, overseeing oncology, neurology, psychiatry and infectious disease products. Prior to founding MORPACE, Matt directed central nervous system research at Decision Resources and served as an on-air reporter covering health care, science, and medical affairs for NBC affiliate stations WPTZ-TV and WICZ-TV.
Matt will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of client projects, creating new products, and providing overall editorial direction. According to Diane Hayes, MedPanel's Senior Vice President and Editor-in-Chief, "Matt's experience in multiple therapeutic areas and market research techniques will add enormous depth and value to the MedPanel content team."
Janet Powers, MBA, MPH, also joins the expanding Content Department, assuming the role of Clinical Director. Prior to joining MedPanel, Janet covered the healthcare sector as an equity analyst for Citizens Funds. As Clinical Director, Janet will oversee moderation and physician recruitment for online discussions, identify and recruit thought leaders, and work with clients to develop objectives and timelines for projects. With her unique background in both business and medicine, Janet will be able to offer clients a balanced and informed perspective.
