Value Capture
The MedPanel Innovation process is designed to systematically build the value of an idea as it progress through each step. Since each step requires additional resources, clients decide whether to proceed to the next stage or exit and capture the value of their innovation.
MedPanel assists clients with the value capture decision in a number of ways. First, the cost to proceed with each step of the innovation process is provided upfront without any commitments. Second, an estimate of the value of idea can be generated at any point during the innovation process. Next, MedPanel can generate a list of potential strategic buyers. Fourth, MedPanel can be retained to pitch and negotiate with strategic buyers leveraging the knowledge captured during the innovation process. Finally, MedPanel can be retained to assist clients in funding and starting a new company with the help of its financial partners.
All of MedPanel's value capture services are optional. At any time during the innovation process clients who have self funded the process can elect to sell the idea on their own without any involvement from MedPanel. Client's receiving partial or full funding support will participate in the value capture decision with their partners.
